Data We Process

• The video file that you choose from local storage and the generated video result.
• Video metadata needed for editing, such as duration, file size, stream information, and file name.
• Editing settings such as start and end time, cut accuracy, transcoding, audio removal, sharing optimization, output quality, and language preference.
• A small recent-results history stored on the device so you can reopen generated files.

Local Video Processing

Video editing is performed on your device. The app copies the selected file into the app document directory, processes it locally with the built-in media engine, and saves generated files locally. Video files are not uploaded to InetTools servers for trimming, cutting, transcoding, saving, or previewing.

Storage, Saving, and Sharing

Generated videos, temporary files, settings, language preference, and recent-results history are stored locally on the device. You can save a result to the Downloads folder or share it with other apps only after you choose those actions. Sharing uses the operating system share sheet.

Crash Reports and Diagnostics

The app uses Sentry/GlitchTip for crash reporting and technical diagnostics. Reports may include app version, environment, device and operating system details, stack traces, and error context. We do not set a user account, email address, or advertising identifier in crash reports, and we do not intentionally attach your video files to reports.

Accounts, Advertising, and Permissions

Trim Video does not require an account and does not use advertising SDKs, the advertising ID, contacts, camera, payment data, or precise location. Network access is used for crash reporting and diagnostics, not for uploading selected videos.

Deletion

You can delete generated result files and clear local app data through the app or operating system storage settings. Since video files are processed locally, InetTools does not have a server-side copy of your selected or generated videos.
